Hi There!

I'm Liat, nice to meet you

I'm Liat Shpaizman, and i've been practicing, training in and teaching mindfulness since 2005.  I'm a mindfulness teacher and coach specializing in anxiety, breathwork, and the fascinating connection between the body and consciousness. Practicing both in Israel and the US  I guide my students through a unique and transformative process of self-inquiry. I have a private practice in Raanana, and lead workshops across Israel and the U.S. for groups, nonprofits and organizations.

Welcoming you to partake in a journey of curiosity, inquiry and growth.

My mindfulness training is rooted in the Shambhala tradition.  After several years of casual interest, I adopted a formal mindfulness and meditation practice in 2005. Since then I have continued to deepen my studies through trainings, retreats, workshops and self-study, evolving to include teachings from the Insight Meditation school and a focus on self-compassion, acceptance, and anxiety. I am a Certified Holistic Life Coach and a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor via Susan Piver's Open Heart Project. In 2023 I discovered the world of Cold Water Exposure (CWI, Ice Baths, Cold Plunges), to which I felt an immediate connection - a natural extension of the conscious-awareness work i had been practicing for nearly two decades prior. I am a certified Cold Water Therapy (CWT) Practitioner through Yossi Aharon's CWT Academy.

Some history...

- Born and raised in New York, I made Aliyah on my own in 2008. In 2010 I married Ido, we expanded the fam to include three kids - and they have all become an inseparable part of my personal (and  therefore professional) development.

- In my original private practice (clinic) in NY I worked with Prenatal and Postpartum women struggling with stress and anxiety. I became a provider and trained in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders with Postpartum Support International.

- About 50% of my students in NY were psychologists, social workers, or other mental health providers themselves.
