Hi there!
I’m Liat, founder of Mindful Mamma
Within one month of giving birth to my first child in 2011 I knew that my life’s purpose would become bridging the worlds of mindfulness and motherhood.

At the time I thought to myself – where would I be right now without my mindfulness practice?! I recall feeling deep gratitude for the eight years of training I had prior to this major life transition, and couldn’t wait to begin sharing this gift with other women who shared an interest in personal development and growth.

My mindfulness training is rooted in the Shambhala tradition. After several years of casual interest, I adopted a formal mindfulness and meditation practice in 2005. Since then I have continued to deepen my studies through trainings, retreats, workshops and self-study, evolving to include teachings from the Insight Meditation school and a focus on self-compassion. In 2011 I became a Certified Holistic Life Coach, and in 2019, after over a decade as a formal practitioner, became a Certified Meditation Instructor via Susan Piver's Open Heart Project.

In 2014 I began training in various fields associated with Maternal Wellness, and the Mindful Mamma practice was officially born.
I became a postpartum doula, and a professional member and provider of both Postpartum Support International and the International Marce Society, with training in components of care for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.

Today I reside in central Israel with my husband Ido, and my three children Ya’ir, Reut and Arbel. When I’m not in session you can find me in a Cold Plunge, strength and endurance training, or at the beach.
